Mrs. Rogers specializes in the areas of play therapy, infant mental health, attachment and trauma. She is certified in TF-CBT and focuses on how to implement this trauma therapy with a play therapy approach. She is also registered as a Child Parent Psychotherapy which is a therapy that focuses on healing trauma that is impacting children ages 5 and younger. Mrs. Rogers’ approach to therapy is grounded in CBT, Attachment Theory and Family Systems. She is an active member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and has worked on projects promoting awareness and prevention of child sexual abuse. Mrs. Rogers is currently engaged in consultation with one of the leading developers of Child Parent Psychotherapy and other CPP Trainers to focus on dissemination of CPP via telemental health.
