SUPERVISED THERAPIST

Today’s fast-paced culture places more expectations on us than ever before, and many people feel increased pressure, loneliness, and disconnection from others as a result. Therapy offers a safe, judgement-free space that allows for vulnerability and emotional exploration for those seeking support, self-acceptance, and healing. I use an emotion-focused lens to walk alongside my clients, so they can be seen and heard as they explore their own unique journey to deepen their relationships and achieve positive change in their lives.

My previous experience in a demanding corporate role puts me in a unique position to provide support and empathy for my clients struggling to balance the stress of career, parenting, and personal life. My passion is helping clients navigate past trauma and the experience of parenthood, including infertility and loss, adjusting to life with a baby, and managing all of the relationship challenges that surface during parenthood. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples deepen their understanding of each other, bring deeper emotion to the surface, identify their interactional patterns, and shift those patterns to repair distress and sustain a secure relationship. I completed externship advanced training for EFT through Atlanta Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas City. MNU trains under CACREP standards, the highest accreditation in the field of counseling. I am under supervision with Liza Reed, LMFT, LPC, CPCS.
