Brandy Rogers
OWNER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR
LPC, RPT-S, ACS, CPCS – LPC006397
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor with over 20 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. While my clinical foundation is rooted in children’s mental health, my work has expanded to include comprehensive treatment for adults and family systems across the lifespan. I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care that supports both individual healing and healthier family relationships.
Child Therapy/Play Therapy
I believe meaningful change rarely happens in isolation. Parents, caregivers, and family systems play a vital role in treatment, and therapy often involves collaboration, guidance, and support beyond the individual client. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University and completed advanced training in Play Therapy and Traumatology, which continues to inform my trauma-responsive approach. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist (Infant Mental Health Specialty).

I am intensively trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and provide specialized OCD treatment for both children and adults. I also support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and the unique stressors faced by parents and professionals.
My clinical work includes reunification therapy, co-parenting support, and therapeutic services for families navigating high-conflict separation or parenting challenges. I help caregivers strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build emotionally safer relationships that support children’s well-being.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist (Infant Mental Health Specialty). As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor, I also provide clinical supervision and training to master’s-level clinicians. Family Therapies and Couples Therapy
My clinical work includes reunification therapy, co-parenting support, and therapeutic services for families navigating high-conflict separation or parenting challenges. I help caregivers strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build emotionally safer relationships that support children’s well-being.
In couples therapy I follow the Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) model for treating couples which focuses on patterns of interaction, attachment needs, and emotional accessibility, responsiveness and engagement between partners. The primary goal is strengthening the relationship rather than treating an identified patient.

Couples Counseling and Insurance
While I accept insurance for eligible individual psychotherapy services, couples counseling is offered on a private-pay basis.
Insurance reimbursement for mental health treatment generally requires the identification of a patient with a mental health diagnosis and a treatment plan directed toward the symptoms and functional impairment associated with that diagnosis. Couples counseling, however, focuses on the relationship itself rather than on the diagnosis and treatment of one partner.
My approach to couples counseling is grounded in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), a relationship-centered model that helps partners understand and change patterns of interaction, strengthen emotional connection, and build a more secure bond. Because the focus of treatment is the relationship, couples counseling services are not billed to insurance.
If you are seeking treatment specifically related to the impact of one partner’s diagnosed mental health condition and wish to utilize insurance benefits, I am happy to discuss appropriate treatment options and provide referrals when needed. There are couples therapists who specialize in working with couples when treatment is centered on the diagnosis and clinical needs of an identified patient, and I am happy to help connect you with those resources when that approach is a better fit for your goals and circumstances.
