Lauren Arnold

INTERN THERAPIST

Lauren Arnold is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Georgia State University. She has completed her coursework and is currently completing her clinical internship with Bright Path Counseling and Consulting.

Lauren has a long-standing passion for working with children, which developed into a professional path as she pursued her undergraduate degree in Psychology and spent over a decade involved in research focusing on various forms of psychopathology.

While Lauren valued her time in research, she ultimately felt called to more direct, relational work with clients. This led her to transition into counseling, where she discovered her passion for play therapy. She finds that play therapy naturally integrates her interest in working with children and her commitment to supporting emotional and developmental growth.

Lauren is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe to express themselves and navigate life’s challenges. She enjoys partnering with families to support children through developmental transitions and the unique experiences that come with growing up.

Lauren is supervised by Brandy Rogers, LPC, RPT-S, ACS, CPCS at Bright Path Counseling & Consulting and by licensed supervisors/faculty members of the graduate program.
