Sarah Benderoth
INTERN THERAPIST
Children and adults are so unique, and that’s why my approach to therapy for each client is different than the last. I love to get to know children for who they are so that together they can become their own confident individuals with coping skills to handle the big world they are in. I have a passion for cognitive behavioral therapy, and I am growing my understanding of play therapy and family attachment styles. I want to know your story, your family’s stories, and anything that can help me help you or your child.
Previously I worked in hospitals for adolescents with eating disorders aged 8-21 where I found my passion to work with youth and teens. I then expanded for my first internship and worked at a mental health crisis stabilization unit for adults. I currently am at Baylor University gaining my master’s in clinical social work to one day become a fully licensed therapist. I am trauma-informed and have a calling to sit with people on their hardest days and help them find hope.
