She began her career in Missouri doing in-home community support with an emphasis on parent training. She moved to Georgia in 2014 to attend graduate school to become a therapist. Since obtaining her masters in social work, she has worked in various levels of care, including psychiatric hospitals, group homes, and community mental health facilities. She is certified in Trauma-Focused CBT and the Attachment Regulation Competency Framework. She enjoys training others on trauma-informed practices, self-compassion, and resiliency.
